Ancient Outpost – #WorldsForgotten

Welcome to my #WorldsForgotten series, every week I will be posting a new ink illustration accompanied by a short story just to set the scene; the rest will be left to the imagination of the viewer!

This week we’re going to be jumping straight in!

The Illustration

Ancient Outpost – Ink on Mixed Media Paper – 4″ x 6″

There are many of these ancient outposts scattered throughout this land. They belonged to the Men of Old, used mainly by soldiers on the march to stop for rest and refreshment.

Not all of these outposts have been discovered and the unfound ones are likely to contain very old artifacts and valuable historical items.

One such priceless item found in this outpost was a soldier’s journal; providing insight and a first-hand account of the Twilight Years of the Eldar in the lead up to the Fell War.

Don’t Miss a Post!

Each illustration for the #WorldsForgotten series will be posted on Thursdays and as with all of my smaller works, the first place they will be posted will be Instagram.

Also on Instagram I post exclusive behind the scenes photos and short video clips (which I’ll be doing a lot more of nowadays) so be sure to follow me on there and be amongst the first to see new works and works in progress! – @JGloverArt

Every Sunday following the Thursday Instagram post, I will post the illustration here on my blog and add a bit more depth in terms of the description/story behind it and so on.

[Be sure to subscribe/follow to stay updated!!!]

Until next time, farewell!
